I was fortunate to have won first place in the 7th-9th grade division at the the juried art competition on 30 August 2008 at the the 30th annual Prairie Arts Festival in West Point, MS! Even got a little money out of it! I currently have four nature photographs entered in a competion at the Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge here in Mississippi.
We had our first cross country meet on Saturday, 20 September 2008 at the Mississippi State Cross Country course. I ran in the junior high division and was our first finisher of the 3000 meter course at 12:55. It was muddy, and very hard to run. It rained like crazy the day and night before!
