This is the guitar corner where my son and I make crazy noises.

The other side, Joseph's table is in the right corner, although he usually spreads out into the middle tables as well.
During the summer of 2004 I finally decided to build myself an art studio that was separate from the house. Been waiting awhile for this, but we finally had enough money to do it. After getting the slab poured, it took only 4 mornings to get the exterior up, with a little help from a couple of fellows. After some more work and some assistance and direction from a friend of mine who goes by the moniker of Gene Shook (a local dude who builds stuff) we got the rest of it done, sheetrock, wiring, laying down pipe for the water line and what-have-you. I made a few shelves and cabinets, refinished some old tables, put the sink in, and painted and stained stuff like crazy. Even stained the floor, as you can see in the pictures. The building is 20 X 30 feet with a 30 X 8 ft front porch. There is a special area for our son Joseph to draw and paint. There is an old couch where I can relax and play my electric guitar without bugging my wife's sensitive ears. Anyway, it is pretty much a done deal now.
